This week Dave Brandt ties a March Brown
This week we travel to the cradle of American Fly Fishing and meet up with Dave Brandt. Not only are we super excited that Dave is gracing our little podcast with his skills, but he also arranged for us to film at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum. How cool is that? Dave ties us up a sweet traditional Catskill March Brown Dry Fly and lays down some serious knowledge on how it is supposed to be done. Catskill dry flies are a huge part of fly fishing history and still effective flies. Forget about the "rides too high" garbage you hear people spouting. You fish these in broken water. C-duns and Para flies are for the frog water!Get some old school going...
